Emil Albert Rosenthal was born in Königsberg/Kaliningrad in 1869 as the son of the merchant Louis Rosenthal and his wife Hulda, née Herrmann. There is a record for his birth in the so-called “Judenregister” (register of Jews) of the Königsberg district court in 1869.
Place of Work
Rosenthal worked as a general practitioner in Berlin in 1910. He had been working in the capital as a specialist in gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases since 1916.

Rosenthal’s health insurance licence was revoked on 1 July, 1933.
Emil Albert Rosenthal fled Germany on 1 November 1939. The circumstances of his escape, the country he fled to, and other biographical details are still unknown.
